Pioneering diversity and inclusion benchmark for Diversity Hero in tech sector
In collaboration with Techleap.nl, NLdigital and us, Diversity Hero launched a pioneering project: the first diversity and inclusion benchmark specifically for the Dutch tech industry.
Mission: Diversity Hero asked us to conduct an in-depth analysis of diversity and inclusion among Dutch tech companies such as booking.com, AFAS, Meetingselect and Lightyear via the benchmark platform Cviews. The goal was to collect, combine and unlock data in a user-friendly, reliable and information-secure way, complete with a custom dashboard for companies to compare their own results.
Approach: We started by collecting data on diversity and inclusion from participating companies' employees through a specially designed online platform. Our team developed the design and implementation of this dashboard. In addition, we optimizedthe Diversity Herowebsite , which led to a close collaboration between our teams, the client and the initiators.
Result: Participating companies could anonymously compare their performance with a self-selected peer group in a secure environment, giving them insights to target diversity and inclusion efforts.
The findings of "The first Dutch D&I in digital benchmark" were presented by Gillian Tans, founder Diversity Hero, at The Next Web conference and subsequently received widespread attention on social media. This led to an expanded network for Diversity Hero with organizations interested in future benchmarks, and plans for expansion to other sectors and countries.
